HAIL HOLY QUEEN…
O GOD, WHOSE…
IN THE NAME…

IN THE NAME, of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

I BELIEVE IN GOD, the Father almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth.  And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, died, and was buried.  He descended into Hell.  The third day he rose again from the dead.  He ascended into Heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father almighty.  He shall come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

OUR FATHER, Who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

HAIL MARY, full of grace; the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
GLORY BE to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.  As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.  Amen.

O MY JESUS, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell; lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen.

HAIL HOLY QUEEN, mother of mercy; our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this val of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us. And after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.

O GOD, WHOSE only-begotten Son by His life, death and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life; grant, we beseech Thee, that by meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

On Monday and Saturday, meditate on the “Joyful Mysteries”
1st Decade: The Annunciation of Gabriel to Mary (Luke 1:26-38)

And when the angel had come to her, he said, “Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you.”

Fruit of the mystery: Humility

“Mary became the Mother of the Most High, willing to be His maidservant. Because of that ‘yes’ spoken by Mary Most Holy, the world obtained salvation and humanity was redeemed. Let us always do God’s will and always say ‘yes’ to the Lord.” — Padre Pio

2nd Decade: The Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth (Luke 1:39-56)

Elizabeth, filled with the holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, “Most blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.”

Fruit of the mystery – Love of Neighbor

“May Mary guide you to Heaven, the secure port of eternal salvation. May she be your gentle model and inspiration in the virtue of humility.” — Padre Pio

3rd Decade: The Birth of Our Lord (Luke 2:1-21)

She gave birth to her firstborn Son. She wrapped Him in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Fruit of the mystery – Poverty in Spirit

“Mother Mary, lead me to the grotto of Bethlehem, so that I may contemplate the great and sublime event that took place in the silence of the most beautiful night the world has ever seen.” — Padre Pio

4th Decade: The Presentation of Our Lord (Luke 2:22-38)

When the days were completed for their purification according to the law of Moses, they took Him up to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord, just as it is written in the law of the Lord, “Every male that opens the womb shall be consecrated to the Lord.”

Fruit of the mystery – Obedience

“Like Mary, do your best to conform always and in everything to the will of God in all eventualities, and do not fear. This is the sure path to Heaven.” — Padre Pio

5th Decade: The Finding of Our Lord in the Temple (Luke 2:41-52)

After three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.

Fruit of the mystery – Joy in Finding Jesus

“The Heart of our Divine Master is filled with sweetness, humility and charity. Often place your confidence in Divine Providence, and be assured that heaven and earth shall pass away sooner than that the Lord would neglect to protect you.” — Padre Pio

On Thursday, meditate on the “Luminous Mysteries”
1st Decade: The Baptism of Our Lord in the River Jordan (Matthew 3:13-16)

After Jesus was baptized, … the heavens were opened [for Him], and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove [and] coming upon Him. And a voice came from the heavens, saying, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

Fruit of the mystery – Openness to the Holy Spirit

“I never cease to implore blessings for you from Jesus, and to beg the Lord to transform you totally in Him. How beautiful is His face, how sweet His eyes, and what a good thing it is to stay close to Him.” — Padre Pio

2nd Decade: The Wedding at Cana, when Christ manifested Himself (John 2:1-11)

His mother said to the servers, “Do whatever He tells you.” … Jesus told them, “Fill the jars with water.” So they filled them to the brim.

Fruit of the mystery – To Jesus through Mary

“May the Mother of Jesus, and our Mother, always smile on you and obtain for you from her Most Holy Son, every heavenly blessing.” — Padre Pio

3rd Decade: The Proclamation of the Kingdom of God (Mark 1:14-15)

“As you go, make this proclamation: ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, drive out demons. Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give.”

Fruit of the mystery – Repentance and Trust in God

“This heart of mine is Yours, my Jesus. So, take this heart of mine, fill it with Your love, and then order me to do whatever You wish.” — Padre Pio

4th Decade: The Transfiguration of Our Lord (Matthew 17:1-8)

While He was praying His face changed in appearance and His clothing became dazzling white. Then from the cloud came a voice that said, “This is My chosen Son; listen to Him.”

Fruit of the mystery – Desire for Holiness

“Don’t tire yourself with things that cause anxieties, concerns and worries. Only one thing is necessary, to lift up your spirit and to love God.” — Padre Pio

5th Decade: The Last Supper, when Our Lord gave us the Holy Eucharist (Mt 26)

Then He took the bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, which will be given for you …” And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood.”

Fruit of the mystery – Adoration

“Jesus said to us, ‘He who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood will have life everlasting.’ So then, approach Holy Communion with holy love and fear. May the entire day be preparation and thanksgiving for Holy Communion.” — Padre Pio

On Tuesday and Friday, meditate on the “Sorrowful Mysteries”
1st Decade: The Agony of Our Lord in the Garden (Matthew 26:36-56)

He was in such agony and He prayed so fervently that His sweat became like drops of blood falling on the ground. When He rose from prayer and returned to His disciples, He found them sleeping from grief.

Fruit of the mystery – Sorrow for Sin

“Pray to God to console you when you feel that the weight of the Cross is becoming too burdensome, for in the garden Jesus asked His Father for some relief. But be ready to say with Jesus, ‘Thy will be done!'” — Padre Pio

2nd Decade: Our Lord is Scourged at the Pillar (Matthew 27:26)

Then Pilate took Jesus and had Him scourged.

Fruit of the mystery – Purity

“You are suffering, it is true, but fear not because God is with you. Do not offend Him but love Him. You suffer, but believe also that Jesus Himself suffers in you for you.” — Padre Pio

3rd Decade: Our Lord is Crowned with Thorns (Matthew 27:27-31)

They stripped off His clothes and threw a scarlet military cloak about Him. Weaving a crown out of thorns, they placed it on His head, and a reed in His right hand.

Fruit of the mystery – Courage

“You asked if the Lord made me experience His crowning with thorns and His scourging, and how many times. My reply must be affirmative. All I can say is that this soul has suffered these things for several years, almost every week.” — Padre Pio

4th Decade: Our Lord Carries the Cross to Calvary (Matthew 27:32)

And carrying the cross Himself, He went out to what is called the Place of the Skull, in Hebrew, Golgotha.

Fruit of the mystery – Patience

“At times Our Lord makes you feel the burden of the Cross. This burden seems intolerable to you. But carry it, because the Lord will extend His hand and give you strength.” — Padre Pio

5th Decade: The Crucifixion of Our Lord (Matthew 27:33-56)

Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Father, into Your hands I commend My spirit”; and when He had said this He breathed His last.

Fruit of the mystery – Perseverance

“Let us ascend Calvary, burdened with the Cross but without tiring. And let us be convinced that our climb to Calvary will lead us to the heavenly vision of our sweetest Savior.” — Padre Pio

On Wednesday and Sunday, meditate on the “Glorious Mysteries”
1st Decade: The Glorious Resurrection of Our Lord (John 20:1-29)

“Do not be amazed! You seek Jesus of Nazareth, the crucified. He has been raised; He is not here. Behold the place where they laid Him.”

Fruit of the mystery – Faith

“With all the faith I possess in my soul I want you to be utterly happy during the holy Easter feasts. I offer ardent prayers that the most sweet Jesus, risen from the dead, may allow you to enjoy these feasts over and over again in the future.” — Padre Pio

2nd Decade: The Ascension of Our Lord (Luke 24:36-53)

So then the Lord Jesus, after He spoke to them, was taken up into heaven and took His seat at the right hand of God.

Fruit of the mystery – Hope

“Do not fear. Jesus is more powerful than all hell. At the invocation of His Name, every knee in heaven, on earth and in hell must bend before Jesus. This is the consolation for the good, and terror for the evil.” — Padre Pio

3rd Decade: The Descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost (Acts 2:1-41) – And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim.

Fruit of the mystery – Love of God

“Do not surrender your soul to temptation, says the Holy Spirit, since the joy of the heart is the life of the soul. Sadness, however, is the slow death of the soul and serves no purpose. So, have courage, fight well, and you will have the prize reserved for the strong-hearted.” — Padre Pio

4th Decade: The Assumption of Mary into Heaven (Jud 15:9-10)

“You are the glory of Jerusalem! . . . You are the great boast of our nation! . . . You have done good things for Israel, and God is pleased with them. May the Almighty Lord bless you forever!” Fruit of the mystery – Grace of a Happy Death

“Jesus, reigning in heaven with the most holy humanity He had received from the womb of the Virgin, desired that His mother be reunited to Him not only with her soul, but also with her body. That body, which had never been the slave of sin for one instant, was not to be a slave of deterioration either.” — Padre Pio

5th Decade: The Coronation of Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth (Rev 12:1)

A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.

Fruit of the mystery – Trust in Mary’s Intercession

“Be cheerful! Jesus will take care of everything. Let us pay no attention to people who do not know what they are talking about. Let us trust in Jesus and our heavenly Mother, and everything will work out well.” — Padre Pio
